How it works

Upon booking, your due date will be prioritized on my calendar. Once your little one arrives we will confirm a date and time that works best for you and your bundle within two weeks of their birth.

In the weeks leading up to your due date, I'll get to know a little bit about you and your family with the help of a quick questionnaire,

On the day of the photo session, I will arrive at your home to document the beauty of your growing family.

FAQ

When is the best time for a newborn session?

Ideally, newborn sessions occur when your little one is between 7 and 10 days old. In these early days baby’s tend to be sleepy, milk-drunk, and happy to be cuddled for a majority of the day, which makes them a joy to photograph.

How should I best prepare for a newborn session?

  1. Crank up the heat. Bare baby skin is adorable, so be sure your home is warm enough for them to be scantily clad.

  2. Nurse the little one about 30 minutes before my arrival if possible. Milk-drunk, sleepy newborns are happy newborns.

Why is a newborn session longer than others?

Newborn sessions are designed to be relaxed and create space for the needs of the little one. These sessions are longer to allow time for unplanned nursing sessions or extra diaper changes.
