Quick & Dirty (But Make It Polished): A Better Kind of “Headshot” Session
Let’s be honest—headshot isn’t my favorite word. Between “shoots” and “captures,” the language of photography can get weirdly violent. I prefer portrait—specifically, a professional studio portrait that actually feels like you. Not stiff. Not sterile. Just honest, confident, and current.
That’s where the Quick & Dirty session comes in.
This session is for creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals who need a fast, polished photo refresh—without overthinking it. Just 20 minutes in my studio, two backdrop colors, and you walk out with 5 high-res, edited images that look like you and work everywhere.
Why Book a Quick & Dirty Portrait Session?
Because most of us are still relying on that one halfway-decent photo—cropped from a wedding, snapped during golden hour, or pulled from a Zoom screen grab. You deserve better.
Here’s how this session delivers:
It’s an instant upgrade. If you’re still using outdated or DIY photos, this gives your brand a professional edge.
You’ve got something coming up. A launch, a feature, a talk, a podcast interview—you need to show up looking like the pro you are.
You’ve changed. If your current photos don’t reflect how you look (or how you feel), let’s fix that.
Your portrait shows up everywhere—LinkedIn, email signatures, about pages, IG bios, press kits, and more. When that image reflects your energy and personality, it sets the tone before you say a word.
How It Works
The Session → 20 minutes in my studio. Two backdrop colors. No fluff, no fuss—just focused, relaxed portrait-making.
The Results → 5 high-resolution, edited images that are ready to use across all your platforms.
The Studio → Professional lighting and 2 solid color backdrops, so your photos feel fresh and visually aligned with your brand.
Want a little more? You can upgrade to a 35-minute session with 30 edited images and the option to incorporate props—laptop, notebook, coffee mug, bag, whatever feels like you.
How to Prepare
What to wear:
We’ll be photographing you from the waist up, so focus on tops.
Look for texture, structure, or layers—jackets, cardigans, button-downs, etc.
Jewelry (if that’s your thing) adds personality. Think earrings, necklaces, or rings.
Bring a couple of tops—one light, one dark—so you pop on both backdrops. I’m happy to help you choose once you arrive.
Hair tip: If it’s long, start with it down and then go up. It’s way easier than the other way around.
MOST IMPORTANT:
Wear something that makes you feel like you. When you feel good, it shows—every single time.
The Quick & Dirty session is proof you don’t need a full production to look polished and professional. You just need good lighting, the right guide, and a little bit of confidence. I’ve got you.
